The AIPP – Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is a pilot program established by the Canadian government to solve high labor shortage issues in 4 Atlantic Provinces, including: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador and Prince Edward Island.
The AIPP program has created a new platform to help businesses quickly find talent and human resources to develop the Canadian economy through difficult times. The AIPP helps some applicants who do not qualify for immigration programs under the startup, skills or study abroad categories, enabling them to quickly settle in Canada.
Canada’s AIPP immigration program had been attracting a large number of migrant workers. The AIPP ended on December 31, 2021, and officially became an AIP program on February 1, 2022, with the goal of attracting 6,000 immigrants per year.
